Each ownership interval provides five weeks of cottage access per year.

These weeks include:

Two fixed golf-season weeks

Three rotating seasonal weeks

The combination allows owners to plan consistent visits while also experiencing different seasons in Muskoka.

You can learn more about the overall structure in Shared Ownership Structure.

Fixed Golf Season Weeks

Each interval includes two fixed weeks during the golf season, which runs from May to October.

These weeks occur ten weeks apart and remain the same each year for that interval.

Because these weeks do not change, many owners build annual traditions around their summer or early fall visits.

A Balanced Scheduling System

Fixed and rotating weeks work together to provide predictable access while allowing seasonal variety.

  • Two fixed golf-season weeks
  • Three rotating seasonal weeks
  • Consistent scheduling each year
  • Small ownership groups per cottage
  • Structured seasonal access

These elements help maintain a balanced ownership schedule.

Seasonal Rotation Weeks

In addition to the two fixed weeks, owners receive three rotating weeks.

These occur during:

Winter

Spring

Fall

The rotation occurs among the other interval owners within the same cottage. This system allows each owner to experience different seasonal periods over time.

You can learn more about this process in Interval Rotation Explained.

Cottage Scheduling

Ownership intervals are tied to a specific cottage and interval number.

For example, an owner may hold Cottage 5 โ€“ Interval 3, which determines the scheduled weeks associated with that interval.

Because scheduling is tied to the interval, the structure remains consistent each year.

Planning Your Visits

Owners can plan their visits well in advance because the fixed weeks remain the same each year.

Some owners return annually during the same summer weeks, while others enjoy the variety provided by the rotating seasonal weeks.

This combination helps provide both predictability and flexibility for owners.
