Each ownership interval provides exclusive use of the cottage during scheduled weeks.

During this time, the cottage is reserved entirely for the owner and their guests. Owners return to the same cottage each year based on their assigned interval.

This structure allows families to enjoy consistent visits while maintaining familiarity with the property.

You can learn more about how intervals are organized in Shared Ownership Structure.

Renting Your Ownership Weeks

Owners may choose to rent their scheduled weeks if they are unable to visit.

Owners have full flexibility to arrange rentals independently through platforms such as vacation rental websites or through personal bookings. When owners manage rentals directly, they retain 100 percent of the rental revenue.

Owners may also choose to have the resort assist with rentals. In this case, rental bookings are typically shared on a 50/50 revenue basis.

Participation in rentals is optional and there is no mandatory rental pool.

Flexible Ownership With Shared Standards

The ownership structure allows flexibility for how weeks are used while maintaining consistent standards across the cottages.

  • Exclusive cottage use
  • Optional rental flexibility
  • Owner-to-owner exchanges
  • Shared property care
  • Long-term ownership stability

These guidelines support both flexibility for owners and consistent property management.

Week Exchanges

Owners may exchange weeks directly with other owners within the same cottage.

These exchanges allow owners to adjust schedules when travel plans change or when different seasonal weeks are preferred.

Week exchanges are arranged directly between owners and do not affect the overall interval rotation system.

Property Guidelines

Ownership includes shared responsibility for maintaining the cottages and supporting the overall ownership community.

Guidelines help ensure that cottages remain well maintained and that each owner enjoys a consistent experience when arriving for their scheduled weeks.

Because cottages are designated as either pet-friendly or pet-free, owners and guests must follow the policy assigned to their specific cottage.

Ownership Transfers

Ownership intervals may be transferred to family members or sold through real estate agents.

Some owners include their interval in long-term family planning, allowing future generations to continue enjoying the cottage.

Ownership transfers allow the program to remain flexible while supporting long-term participation in the ownership community.
